Had a wonderful time volunteering as a judge in the Poster competition for Young Scientistas presenting their graduate/undergraduate research and chairing the "Academic Leadership TED talk panel."
I got very inspired by this new generation of scientists in training, as well as from listening the wise and powerful advice from the panelists: Diana Murray, Columbia University, Jennifer Ross, UMass Amherst and Shruti Naik, The Rockefeller University.
Thanks to Scientista Brandy Groove from Case Western Reserve University, for organizing this energizing event.
The Scientista Foundation offers a variety of professional development, mentoring and networking opportunities for Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Medicine (STEM) fields. Find more info on their website.
